I am
an interdisciplary artist, Living and Working in Central NC.
I hold a BFA from UNC-CH in drawing and painting, and have been a professional woodworker since 2008. I have been making music in some manner for 3 decades, be it walloping the drums or strumming guitar, writing and singing songs.
I am deeply interested and invested in the human experience. How we sit, how we look, how we listen, how we persist. The multitudes of possible experiences of this life, this place and time, are expansive and infinite. Still and again, we are transient, we are foolish, we are loving and strange. From here, my work sprouts—a channel of a broader existence among many, many voices. It is my deepest hope for us to reciprocate, to work together, to hold the sacred presence of this momen—and in doing so, eschewing any systems, lords and laws that might divert our deep and necessary bonds.
